My name is Eli Liechty and I am an engineer. I am an entrepreneur, a business-owner, an investor, a husband, and a father of four. I have been building things my entire life from tinkering in the tool shed to helping build, grow, and sell Rapid Quality Manufacturing (RQM), an advanced additive manufacturing business that revolutionized aerospace part-making. I currently own and operate Empower Manufacturing, a precision shaft maker for OEMs in the pump and motor markets. 9.29 Holdings is a reflection of my values and goals, not just as an entrepreneur and investor, but as an active member of my community. At 9.29 Holdings, we are solely pursuing long term investments in or close partnerships with small-to-medium sized private companies within the tri-state region of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development at 9.29 Holdings, I focus on cultivating relationships with business owners and sourcing new opportunities on behalf of the firm. Being a Cincinnati native and an automotive fanatic, I’m passionate about helping small businesses with a technical focus grow while preserving their core values and strong cultures. What drew me to 9.29 is the people-first mentality at the core of our approach. What I love most about my job is connecting with the people behind local businesses and collaborating to unlock their potential. I am grateful for the opportunity to impact our local economy by supporting great organizations where people can build fulfilling careers. From a young age, I’ve had a deep passion for improving my community and solving problems with ingenuity and teamwork. I’m fortunate that my role at 9.29 Holdings allows me to engage in these activities daily.
